🎻 Award Ceremony Concert

Join us for a spectacular celebration of young talent and musical excellence at the Sixth International Zhang Violin Competition Award Ceremony Concert! Held in the prestigious Concert Hall at the Chatswood Concourse, this event brings together top competition performers and passionate young violinists from across the community.

We warmly invite all violin students to participate in our ensemble performance on this special occasion. Whether you’re a competition participant or simply a violin enthusiast who loves to perform, this is your chance to be part of something unforgettable.

🎶 Ensemble Participation – Open to All Violin Students

All violin students are welcome to join the ensemble as long as they:

• Follow the ensemble learning videos on our website
• Are able to perform from memory on the concert day

Participation is:

• Free for this year’s competition participants (registration required)
• $50 for non-participants  

Once registration is complete, students can log in to the Online Teaching Centre to choose the pieces they wish to perform and start preparing.
👉 Step-by-step learning videos are provided on the website to support your practice and performance.

🌟 Gold Award Solo Performance

Gold Award winners who are interested in performing their solo piece at the concert are invited to contact us directly at info@zhangviolin.org.

🎼 Ensemble Repertoire

Students may choose one or more of the following ensemble pieces:

• From “Violin The First 100 Days”: No. 12 Vivace, No. 23 Dolly's Lullaby, No. 38 Woodchuck, No. 44 Minuet
• Rieding Concerto in B Minor, 1st Movement
• Seitz Concerto No. 5 in D major, 1st Movement
• Dancla Variation No. 1 in F Major
• Mollenhauer – Boy Paganini Fantasy
• Paganini Variation in A Major
• Potstock – Souvenir de Sarasate
• Seitz Concerto No. 4 in D major, 1st Movement

We welcome all violin teachers to support their students in preparing these pieces and to join us in this grand musical event. Let’s share the joy of music and celebrate the achievements of our young violinists together.
