Registration Process

Welcome to the 7th Zhang International Violin Competition. Please follow the five steps below to complete your registration and video submission.

1. Visit the Official Website

Access the competition portal via:

  • English Site: zhangviolin.org/competition
  • Chinese Site: zviolin.cn/competition

Click the "Register" button to begin the registration process.

2. Complete Online Form

Fill out the online registration form. Participants will be automatically assigned to an age group based on their date of birth. Please ensure all information is accurate and complete.

3. Payment Instructions

  • ●Payment is completed via the secure online payment system.
  • ●Upon successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent to your registered address.
  • ●Early registration and payment are recommended to guarantee your participation.
  • ●Important: All payments are non-refundable once completed.

Fee Structure

Members/Subscribers: $50

Non-Members: $100

* For Non-Members, the fee includes a complimentary membership through 30 June 2026, granting access to Prof. Zhang's multimedia resources.

4. Video Preparation & Submission

  • ●Resources: Once payment is complete, log in to the Online Learning Centre to access official piano accompaniment videos for practice and recording.
  • ●Deadline: Upload your performance video by 15 May 2026 (Australian Eastern Time) via the competition zone.
  • ●Repertoire: If your piece is not listed, manually enter the title and composer. Limit: One piece or movement, maximum duration 12 minutes.
  • ●Changes: Participants may make one free change to their repertoire selection before the submission deadline.
  • ●Confirmation: Check that your video plays normally 10 minutes after submission. For assistance, contact:

5. Participation Eligibility

The competition is open to all young violinists worldwide. Registration is officially confirmed once payment is completed and the performance video is successfully submitted.
