Susie Park

Susie Park

Hailed as "prodigiously talented", Australian violinist Susie Park has gained worldwide recognition for her searing emotive range and dynamic stage presence. Among her numerous awards and honours, she won top prizes at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis and the Wieniawski Competition (Poland), and was winner of the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition (France).

Jia Feng Chen

Jia Feng Chen

Jiafeng Chen is a top prize winner of several major violin competitions including the International Competition for Young Violinists K. Lipinski and H. Wieniawski in Lublin, The Sibelius International Violin Competition in Helsinki, the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition in Cardiff and the Windsor International String Competition in Windsor. Chen is also a Laureate of the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition. He was awarded the Paganini Prize at the Indianapolis International Violin Competition, and the Silver Medal from the centuries-old Worshipful Company of Musicians in UK for his contribution in artistry to the Royal College of Music when he was a student there.

Sarita Kwok

Sarita Kwok

A popular and enthusiastically received performer described by the New York Times as a "fine young violinist", Sarita has appeared on chamber series and at festivals throughout the United States, including Mistral Music, Temple Emanuel Chamber Series, Rockport Chamber Music Festival, Brooklyn Friends of Chamber Music, Redbank Chamber Music, and in performances at Weill and Zankel recital halls, Merkin Concert Hall, Kitara Hall (Japan), Villa Medici (Italy), and the Theatre du Jeu de Paume (France). Sarita's broadcast appearances have included WGBH public radio, Radio Suisse Romande, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation TV and radio.

Professor Zhang has many more students around the world, who are soloists, members of symphony orchestra or teachers. They are also delivering Prof Zhang's teaching philosophy around the world.
Le Zhang

Le Zhang

Zhang Le won the First Prize in the 1st National Violin Competition of China at the age of 13. When Dorothy Delay heard him play, she said: "All the world will hear your performance, you will be a great artist." Zhang Le went on to win the Violin Competition at the Aspen Music Festival, and immediately received a full scholarship from the Juilliard School of Music. In Europe, he was a prize winner in the Queen Elizabeth International Competition in Belgium, the Menuhin Competition in England, and the Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poland. He became the first violinist from China to join the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City. As a Soloist, he frequently gives concerts throughout the world.

Wei Wen

Wei Wen made many outstanding achievements of international violin competitions, including the third prize in Sibelius Internatioanl Violin Competition , the fourth prize in Pablo Sarasate Competition in Spain , the second prize the Lipinski and Wieniawski Inernational Competition for Young Violinsts in Lublin Poland, the second prize in Yampolsky Competition , the third prize in the International Competition in Kloster Schontal Germany , third in Russia Yang Bo Siji International Violin Competition and other awards. Wei Wen is the Professor in the Sichuan Conservatory of Music.

Xiao-Dong Wang

Xiao-Dong Wang

Violinist Xiao-Dong Wang was First Prize winner in the Menuhin International Violin Competition and First Prize winner in the Wieniawski-Lipinski International Violin Competition at the ages of thirteen and fifteen. A guest soloist of considerable experience, Mr. Wang has performed with orchestras around the world, including the Royal Philharmonic in London, the London Mozart Players, Adelaide, Perth, Queensland Symphony Orchestras, and Sydney Opera Orchestra. He has also appeared performing on both violin and viola in chamber music concerts at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Aspen, Ravinia and in many other festival and musical events worldwide.

Wei Wei Le

Fox Chan

Awarded the “Best International String Player” in the Gisborne International Music Competition, Fox Chan was the First prize winner of the 2001 Guangdong Province National Violin Competition in China and has won many competitions and awards in Australia. As a soloist, Fox has given concerts with orchestra and recitals in Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Norway, Poland, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Macau where his performance was met with great enthusiasm and round applause. As a chamber musician, Fox is the founder and violinist of the Estivo trio. Fox is now on staff as a Senior violin teacher of the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, he is also the founder and director of the Arco Music Academy.

Wei Wei Le

Wei Wei Le

Described by the legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin as “one of the most talented young musicians I have ever seen”. Le has firmly established herself as one of the most gifted violinists in her generation. She has won many important international competitions, including the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition (England), the Kloster Schontal International Violin Competition (Germany), and the Starling International Violin Competition (USA), among others. As a solo performer, Le has given recitals and concerts all over the world, performing solo concertos with noteworthy orchestras such as the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (London), Queensland Symphony (Australia), Bermuda Symphony Orchestra, and the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra.

Professor Zhang has been endeavouring teaching young generation over past 60 years. He has never stop learning new technology and bring it in to his teaching. His students have been benefited from his tireless research and great passsion. His students also embrace his teaching methodologies and transmit to the next generation. Hiroaki Yura

Hiroaki Yura

Yura is the founder of the Eminence Symphony Orchestra and the Eminence Audio Production company, and a violin virtuoso. He has extensive solo experience ranging from recitals to solo concerto performances. Yura has won numerous competitions internationally and locally, including the 7th Etoh Toshiya International Violin Competition for Young Violinists, was a prize winner at the Gisbourne International Music Competition in New Zealand, received multiple scholarships to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and has received scholarships with a number of other institutions.

Yang Xu

Yang Xu

Violinist Yang Xu has garnered prizes in an array of international competitions, including the Yehudi Menuhin, Henryk Szeryng, Irving Klein, Novosibirsk, and the Kloster Schontal International Violin Competitions. He was named the grand prizewinner of the Sorantin International Award for young artists in U.S. Mr. Xu has been playing under the Baton of many renowned conductors such as James Levine, Riccardo Muti, Danial Barenboim and Simon Rattle. He has recorded for DG, Sony, EMI and Decca at the Lincoln Center for numerous opera performances in CD and DVD. Mr Xu performs regularly at New York City's Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

Cheng Gu

Cheng Gu

Chen Gu was a prize winner at the Wieniawski-Lipinski Competition in Lublin, Poland. In 1998, he took second place at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition in Russia. In 1999 Chen Gu won the Richard Goldner Scholarship, the Kendall National Violin Competition and the University of Melbourne’s Dorcas McClean Scholarship, and was a Stage III finalist in the Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards. In 2000, he was a prize winner at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in England. Chen Gu has been a permanent member of the Sydney Symphony since 2001. In 2002, he appeared as Guest Concertmaster with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and he has since appeared as Acting Associate Concertmaster with the Sydney Symphony.

Cheng Gu

Harry Ward

Harry has always been extremely passionate about music and the violin in particular and has won many prestigious awards and prizes, including Australian String Academy Concerto Winner, Kuringgai Conerto Competition Junior Winder, McDonalds Concerto Competition, ABC Young Performers Finalist, National Youth Concerto Competition Winner, Australian Vocal & Concerto Competition, etc. Harry has been invited to attend great fesivals, schools and Summer schools. In 2011 and 2012 he received full scholarships to the Meadownmount Summer School in New York. Currently Harry is a student of Professor Boris Kuschnir as part of the course for Highly Gifted Students through the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz, although living in Vienna. Here Harry is consuming and performing music with some of the world’s finest musicians.
